Filled with God’s Divine Presence

In Romans eight, Paul said that same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you. If we would catch a glimpse of that revelation, it would completely change us.

That you may really come to know practically, through experience for yourselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that you may be filled through all your being unto all the fullness of God may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!

DISCUSSION:

This is not the time to back off. Many of you live in countries that have oppressive governments. You have things going on in your government and your country has a lot of needs. God wants to do a supernatural act on your behalf to provide for you. Warrior Notes is believing for you and even those who are in need living in the United States, we are believing with you and praying for you. You need to grasp what the word of God says. In Ephesians 3:19, Paul was talking to people in the early Church they were steeped in witchcraft, and he was telling them that they could be filled with a measure of God’s divine presence, that the whole body would be filled and flooded with God himself. It's God in us, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Think about the Holy Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead. That same spirit that rose Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you (Romans 8:11). If we would catch a glimpse of that revelation, it would completely change us.

Catching a glimpse of that revelation is what has happened to me, and I had it happen to me through encounters, but it should have been me just reading my Bible. I shouldn't have had to have some of the encounters I had. I'm telling you that because everyone wants to have these supernatural encounters but see, it should be the result of the Word of God and the revelation of the Word of God. Sometimes we almost default, and God is gracious allows us to have these experiences. I'm so humbled every time it happens because I realize that I should have already known what He shows me. I should have just read my Bible and prayed and meditated on God's Word and submitted to the truth instead of having to walk into a place where God had to almost arrest me. I am being honest with you. A lot of the encounters I've had, it was because I was being arrested, and it was because God had to get certain truths across to me; I was behind the curve.

At the time I thought I was being favored because God was giving me all these encounters, but what I realized when I saw the huge plan in heaven was that God needs certain people on the earth to be operating in this revelation all the time. If this revelation starts to fall, people start to fade away, opt out and they fall away, which is happening right now. If that happens, God must have someone else fulfill their place. God showed me that at the end of the age the kids would actually step into adult positions and have more signs and wonders, more faith, and more manifestation of the Spirit than the adults do in the last days. This is why Warrior Notes has shifted to focusing on home schooling and kid’s programs.

I have found that sometimes we default to encounters because God needs to get the revelation over to us; He's so gracious to give us these encounters. Paul is saying that we encounter His goodness and His glory because His presence is in us. It's already operating in us. I've read every book that's available on the moves of God and studied them in detail. It took me years. I went through every individual that ever was involved with a move of God, every individual, every single person, every single country. It took years going through volumes and volumes of writings. What I determined was that God arrested these people.

Galatians 1: 15-16: But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

• God predetermined people’s involvement in these moves of God. Paul said he was set apart as an Apostle since birth, but he killed Christians until he was 30.

• The predetermining is that God writes things about people, but they hardly ever come to pass because people do not pursue God.

• Paul was literally knocked to the ground by a bright light and blinded because it got to the place where he was “kicking against the goads” (Acts 26:14).

• He was persecuting the body, and Jesus said called him out and he had a conversion with him.

• Paul was the actual replacement for Judas.

• The disciples cast lots for Matthias, which was forbidden (Acts 1:26). You don't have to cast lots to choose someone. Instead, you pray, and God shows you who it is.

• They cast lots for Matthias. And what did he do?

What did he do that is ever mentioned? Nothing!

• There is not one account of what he did.

• Paul was chosen since birth to be that apostle.

• God predetermines the good works. The works that are in Christ were predetermined, yet people go to hell and never fulfill their books.

• All the good works in Christ were already determined before Christ even came. All the good inheritance was already predetermined, before He made man, He already knew.

• God does not violate our will.

• In other words, we still have free will to choose.

• Even within the realm of you being a believer, you still have free will on how much of a return on the Word of God, that's been sown into you, is produced in fruit.

• Jesus said that when the word is sown that there are four types of soil.

• The Word only produces in one field, one type of soil out of four.

• Out of one hundred people, only twenty-five actually have good soil, but then out of that twenty-five, there's a thirty-, sixty-, and one hundred-fold return.

• There is another variable within the good soil, which is us, we are the good soil that produces a crop, but the crop varies, some thirty, some sixty, and some a one-hundred-fold return.

• I want the one hundred-fold.

• How do I get the one hundred-fold? It has to do with diligence and with seeking God. It has to do with minding the Word of God.

Where should we be getting our revelation from? What are Godly encounters
the result of?

Hebrews 1:6: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.”

• This verse comes right after talking about Enoch and how he walk with God, and pleased God.

• Without faith it is impossible to please God because you must believe He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

• It’s not just enough to believe that he exists.

• How many Christians do you know that call themselves believers because they believe that God exists, but they have no interaction with Him?

• People to not diligently seek him because there's no relationship.

Ephesians 3:20 AMPC: Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think
infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams—

• Practically speaking, Paul is explaining that the power that you experience within you is the power that is able to fulfill your purpose and your destiny.

• In all the fullness, to where you have the richest measure of the divine presence inside of you, and that through that you will experience and carry out his purpose super abundantly, exceedingly above whatever you could ask seek, think about, or imagine; it's beyond that.

• Infinitely higher than the best prayers you've ever prayed!

• The one hundred-fold return on the Word is based on us allowing the Spirit to tell us what to pray, tell us what to say, tell us where to go.

• Yet how many people want to sacrifice and walk like that and still be able to have a business and do your job?

• I had to learn to do that for thirty years.

• I had to do my job and fly five flights a day and be in the Spirit all the time while people were just being people.

• While at my job I began to think that I did not want to be a human.• Over and over, I saw people as they; I realized that left to ourselves, we are a total mess.

• Then the Lord started teaching me. He said “Even within Christianity, people become lukewarm to where I want to spit them out of my mouth because they're not diligent.”

• People are satisfied merely believing that God exists. They believe that if God wants something a certain way, then He’ll have it that way.

• I have encountered so many Christians that believe this.

• When I was in heaven, I saw that it is not up to Him.

• Everything's already been established.

• It's been given to us, and the power that's working in us will carry out God’s purpose; it’s “super abundantly.”

• People say, “I want whatever God wants.” Well, He’s already told you what He wants, but it’s not happening in your life.

• I have to tell you this… The “superabundantly”, the thirty-, sixty-, and one-hundred-fold return on God's Word is not talking about money here. It's talking about the Word of God being sown and what comes out of you because of that.

• It’s always going to be transformation.

• The word transformation means change. You're going to be transformed. God is not going to change; you're going to change!

• If He shows up, the supernatural is going to happen; you're not going to be able to slow it down.

• If He shows up, the mountain will catch on fire. There will be thunder, and lightning.

• Think about Mount Sinai and about God coming down.

• The people who are so afraid that they threw Moses under the bus and said, “you go up. We're not going up there. We're afraid.”

Psalm 29:3-7: The voice of the LORD is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

• Reading about God and His power will correct you.

• Your circumstances will seem smaller because we forget that God in us has already proposed a deal we cannot refuse.

• That you have eternal life.

• However, while we are down here on the earth, God is asking us, “could you allow me to glorify myself through you? Could you allow me to heal your body? Could you allow me to deliver you? Could you allow me to prosper you so that you can help others? Could you allow me to make you a teacher, to make you a mentor, to make you a person who can hand out food, who can help people pay their rent. Can you allow me to do supernatural things through you?”

• This is what Paul was talking about, and this is the mystery that I saw in heaven.

• The mystery has already been revealed, but the revelation of that mystery has to be within us to produce fruit.

• It’s not a mental thing.

Read all of Psalm 29. How does it affect your view of your circumstances? How does it change your view of God?

DISCUSSION:

When I was in school, I would sit and listen to all these men and women of God. You would know every one of them. I would think, My God, what a privilege to sit under all these people. I worked three jobs and would often feel so tired. I got two Bachelor degrees and two minors in three years. When I entered my two-year program I had to do three jobs. I had the three jobs, and I was going to school, and I would be so tired. The Lord said to me, “There's going to come a day when you're going to look back and you're going to wish you had paid attention. Go get coffee, go get something; you do not want to miss this class.”

I had John Osteen teaching me. I had Lester Sumrall teaching me. I can name them all. All these great men and women of God would come in and they would sit there and tell their stories. John Osteen was the best preacher I've ever heard. Lester Sumrall would start talking about what he did the day before, not even getting into his message, and demons would start screaming out of people. He hadn’t even gotten past the announcements.

Kathi and I saw this happen. The he would say, “I didn't travel 1300 miles to listen to the devil talk, take that person out and get that devil out of them. I need to get on with my message.”

He wouldn't even do it himself. He would have the pastor take them out. He would explain that it was his meeting and that the person needed to go out in the lobby and cast the devil out of them. He would just keep going with his announcements. All of these incredible people changed my life. I would skip my meals because Brother Hagen would secretly teach prayer school from 1:00 to 2:00pm. No one knew about it but I got invited. For two years, every day, I would skip my lunch and go right to prayer. And afterward I would change into my uniform in the bathroom and go to work, so that I could learn how to pray. We would pray for nations. We prayed for China all the time. This was thirty years ago. Brother Hagan would prophesy about China, things that are happening now. He would just kneel there, and I was within ten or fifteen feet of him, along with Keith Moore and Patsy Cameneti.

I learned how to pray from those people. We would pray in tongues and interpret our tongues. Brother Hagen would interpret his tongues. He would say, “okay, now we're going to pray for India. The Spirit saying this,” and we would go after that in prayer. Then he would say, “Okay, now we're going to go for Pakistan and the Spirit is saying this.” These weren’t filmed. There are no tapes of them. They were private and intimate and that's how I learned how to pray. I realized there's a whole other world.

I would go to work after that prayer meeting, and I'd be at the hotel and demons would start manifesting in people. All I was doing was carrying their bags. Then other people would hand me thousands of dollars and say, “I just want to bless you.” I'm like, I held the door for you, gave me $100 for holding a door. I drove a limousine and would transport rock groups. I'd have to take rock groups like Foreigner and Sticks and all these different big rock groups; I would drive them wherever they wanted to go after the concert. I just wanted to go home and study the Bible, but that was my job. They would just throw money at me. They would ask me what I did, and I would tell them I was in minister training. Then there'd be silence and all the little funny cigarettes would disappear.

I remember once the drummer said, “Asking for a friend. But how would you get saved if you wanted to get saved?” He was drumming with a very popular rock group. I shared with him and led him in the prayer in the back of a limousine. I told him what he needed to do to become Christian. The whole group had to sit and listen to the gospel message. He later announced he had become a Christian.

To me, this is Christianity. This is what we're talking about, the superabundant. You have to have an edge about you the way people want what you have. It has to be a substance. It can't be just the message.

DISCUSS:

1. The Practical experience of God living in you. What it means for your job, business, family, your body, your health.

2. The supernatural events that happen in your life.

3. How you carry the purposes of God within you because you carry the Holy Spirit within you.

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much for all my friends, students and partners all over the world, all my warrior family. Thank you for Warrior fellowships. Lord, I ask that You super-abundantly, above anything that they could ask or think, that You would just pour out from within them. The abundance of knowledge and wisdom, that they would be filled and flooded with light right now, and that the plans and purposes that You have for them would not only be known to them, but that it would be manifest and fulfilled and that they would walk in it right now!

Lord, I ask for a supernatural event. A supernatural marker. A mile marker, a kiss from heaven right now, that they would be established. That many, many more warriors will come, and that we will see the harvest. I ask you in the name of Jesus and by His blood. I thank you that every lying devil and power be broken in the name of Jesus. Amen!
